The DOHaD (Developmental Origins of Health and Disease) concept proposes that the development of cardiometabolic diseases during adult life occur as a result of metabolic insults suffered by the individual at critical phases for their development. The 2nd ISDS aims to promote the integration and exchange of experiences among researchers, professors and students of undergraduate and postgraduate and professionals who work within the themes proposed at the event.
